LAKES AND MOUNTAINS

The Wonders of Snowdonia

We’re so lucky to have the stunning Snowdonia National Park on our doorstep! There seems to be something new and exciting to discover virtually every time we set off to explore the region. Naturally, we already have our favourite spots and we are sure that you will find yours while you are here.  By the way, you can see the summit of Snowdon at the top of the lane outside The woollen Mill and this fabulous sight should be enough to tempt you into the mountains.

There’s so much to see that we will probably never manage to visit every lake in Snowdonia or to complete all of the amazing hikes in the mountains. But there are special places we have already found that we can highly recommend and these are showcased below. If you are interested in the wonderful walks and hikes in the Welsh mountains, visit our Walking page for more information. We have written guides to the trails that we have managed to complete and we will continue to update the list with each trail that we think you should experience. But you don’t have to walk very far to find something wonderful in Snowdonia!
