Additional information

How we protect your data

Our website utilises the secure (https) protocol throughout as recommended by Google. We utilise a third party hosting company who protect against server wide breaches of security.

We utilise a third party booking system plugin. This system stores details in our secure database. No financial information is stored in this database, just your contact details to service the booking.  Contact information is backed up daily and stored in secure files on our server.

If booking and contact information is transferred offline to service bookings then this is stored in an encrypted file. We use Keepass, an open source encryption tool to store this data.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the very unlikely event of a data breach, we have the ability to immediately take our website offline whilst the site is secured.  Any personally identifiable information leaked is notified to the relevant authority.  In the UK, this organisation is the ICO.

What third parties we receive data from

We may from time to time receive data from Facebook and Google AdWords related to ad usage. This data cannot be used to indentify any user and is only used to show the effectiveness of our marketing.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not use any automated decision making outside of our spam detection plugin which is used to limit spam attacks on our blog pages.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

We are not currently associated with any industry regulatory body.
