Finding the Sweet Spot
Who doesn’t love treating themselves to a few sweeties? You are sure to have favourites and you will find them all and more at The Penny Farthing in Beaumaris. When visiting, I always grab several bars of stevia chocolate, a godsend as I am diabetic and so am not supposed to eat regular chocolate. Dave can’t resist investing in what feels like several tonnes of chocolate Brazils, chocolate raisins and chocolate gingers! You will enjoy exploring the diverse choices including the pick ‘n’ mix and the delicious Turkish delight, not to mention the fudge. I definitely shouldn’t eat any of those , but hey!
The Penny Farthing is owned and run by our friend Heather who is a welcoming host who loves dogs. She is clearly a discerning individual as she is mum to a gorgeous goldendoodle called Milo who looks disconcertingly like our Teddy. All canine visitors to the shop are thoroughly spoiled!
Whether your guilty pleasure is mint imperials, chocolate mice, jelly babies or bon bons, you will discover everything you could wish for at The Penny Farthing. If you are visiting Beaumaris, do pop in and indulge yourself! You won’t regret it!
TRADITIONAL SWEET SHOP AND GARDEN OF HEAVENLY DELIGHTS!
